Activities

Follow us on social media to see updates on upcoming activities and events!

Join us for social, cultural, and recreational activities and trips that will help you practice English outside of the classroom. Every term we offer many opportunities to meet new people, explore Oregon, and experience American culture. Past activites have included trips to the Oregon coast, shopping at the Premium Outlet Mall, mini-golf, ice skating, and more. Come join us for fun, friends, and conversation!

Please check your UO email daily and be on the lookout for emails from aeiactivities@uoregon.edu detailing upcoming AEI-sponsored events as well as other interesting activities on campus and around Eugene.

Explore on Your Own!

AEI leads a handful of activities and trips each term, but there is a lot more to see and do during your time here in Oregon! Here are some resources for exploring things on your own:

Visit the Eugene, Cascades, and Coast website for ideas and up-to-date information about places to go and things to see in this part of Oregon.

Check out this list of suggestions we made of things to do in the area, including shopping, hiking, bowling, and sites outside of Eugene: Explore the Area Handout
